WORKING ON ERIC CARLE poetry book

POLITICAL ART

This art was created pre-election... NOVEMBER 6, 2012. The assignment was to create a poster about the election, whether is was to encourage people to vote for a specific candidate OR to encourage people to get out and vote!

MC ESCHER and Tessellations

Torn Art

Students were encouraged to create abstract designs using torn paper in a variety of colors.

What are we Thankful "4"

Students wrote what they were thankful for in the NUMBER 4. They then created wall drawings using Native American symbols on brown kraft paper. The texture of the paper is like the wall of a cave, OR a terracotta pot. Students experimented with drawing a variety of symbols to convey ideas.

MONSTER PLAN!

LESSON plan

CHARCOAL first critique

kids are fuzzy on purpose...

CHARCOAL

CHARCOAL... not easy. SUPER messy. AMAZING RESULTS. Vine charcoal, thick charcoal, pencil charcoal...

COMICS

Our first book is getting ready to print! We created characters, and put them in a comic strip! Here are some of the final results that will be in the book!

SNEAKERS!

The Dunk was first introduced by Nike, Inc. in 1985. As the Nike Terminator’s "fraternal twin", originally having numerous colors in most sizes (Hi-Top or Low-Top) for various Universities and Colleges. Since its reintroduction in 1998, the Dunk has transformed from a basic basketball shoe into a subcultural icon and an inspiration for fashion, culture, and art.

(ABOVE COPIED FROM WIKIPEDIA)

We created our own "DUNKS" with a converse printout and we designed our own sneakers with the intent of making them personal... here are some of the outstanding examples of our V.O.D. (Very Own Dunks) Limited Editions OF COURSE!
